Perception Is Key!!!

What Is Your Outlook?

Do You See the Glass Half Empty or Half Full?

Many of us search to fill voids that are missing or lacking.

Satisfaction

Are you satisfied with yourself and what you can offer to someone else? Not in the material sense, rather the deep levels of connection, making someone feel secure, respected, admired, loved, valued, and important.

Confidence

Without confidence we fall victim and prey to those that seek to belittle, denounce, and inhibit your best interest. Moving forward and accepting change is challenging, but with confidence your security lies in knowing whatever the decision or change, it serves to elevate and motivate you.

Assurance

Stand firm with your decision and what you know and feel is right. Others may try to break you, but rest assure that your instincts and drive will get you through.

Leader

To get where you want, become a leader of your destiny. Make things happen. Create your path and step out from the norm and others expectations. Follow the herd and get left behind. Set the pace, make the first move and see others follow suite.
As with several success stories, those who made it took a risk and challenged the Nay Sayers!!!

BEWARE:

Not all that approach with a smile is happy or genuine.
The JOKER wears a permanent smile on his face. Avoid the joke being on you.
Try to approach life like a game. With each step or obstacle, someone, something comes out to block or stop you. To get to the next level, know your opponents tricks, and be prepared for the obstacles.
As human beings we are creatures of habit by nature. Develop a habit to create your path and be a leader in your own right.

Let Me Have You

I called you, but no one answered. I searched for you, but did not find you. Where have you gone? Did you forget me?

I Want You, I Need You... I long to show you my love, and bring you close to me. I never forgot you. I have always been here, Patiently waiting for you to find and ask for me. Where have you been? Where did you go?

I Need You, I Want You... I desire your presence and time. Take this journey with me. I have been longing for you to return. To walk with you, smile with you, and to love you. You can always depend on me. I never left you. Take my hand and let me help you.

I Want You, I Need You... Don't hide from me. Let me have your heart, and I will shield with my love. There is nothing I want more than to show you my love. Seek me, Find me, Talk to me. I have been waiting, waiting..., Patiently for you. Let me have you. Can I have you?... Yes, God I am yours.

Reflection:

Look at you, so fresh..., vibrant..., peaceful..., and confident. Light shining through, mesmerizing and pure. Caught a glimpse and I like what I see. Untied from constraints. You did not sink amidst all the chaos, responsibilities, burdens, disappointments, failures, and struggles. The sun added a glow... The rain relaxed you... The sunset inspired you... The bird sang to you... Someone believed in you... The sunrise enlightened you... The music made you dance... The chain was broken, but you reconnected. Your patterns have changed. You stepped forward and saw the difference. Unbroken by words, you forged through, aware of limitless possibilities. Your mind developed..., your eyes opened..., your hurt pumped..., your ears rang..., your hands held..., your soul searched..., your spirit reborn. A new day has begun...You I see... And I like what I see. Today is my new beginning.

PRESSURE OFF......................................

Take a second as you read this and just breathe. Take in a deep breathes and breathe. The pressure off. What your going through at this minute. Is not as important as you breathing. You are blessed with a new day and a new way. So take that in. You have a second chance to take a deep breath. And start all over, knowing today is the day I can change. I can live again. Take a third breathe as you read on and just breathe. Take in positive thoughts, knowing you are someone special. You are a being. Meaning you belong here on earth. On purpose, because you have a purpose. So exhale now! You released all the negative in your life. New day, New time, Breathe! The pressure off! Nothing can change today outcome. You have to make it right for you. By picking your face off the ground. Say "I love me". "I always did". "I just didn't know". "Because I couldn't see me". Now the blind fold is off. The pressure is off. And the beginning starts, by surrounding yourself with people whom shares your vision in life and positivity. There nothing like peace of mind. So keep it moving and shake it off. Life is tough. We all can relate to that. But how you get out of a rut determines your strength and reflects you. So take a second as you read this and just breathe. Put your game face on and proceed. In the end what it comes down to is the light at the end of the tunnel is your sign you made it. Then raise your glass and say cheers. The pressure is off. Pain equals trails to grow to success. This is me talking to me everyday.
GET FROM THE BACK DROP & GET IN THE FOREFRONT

As much as we want to give others praises and we stand in the background. We need to start with ourselves first. We need to give our self credit for where we have been, and where were going, for our visions, and our accomplishments. Everyone's goals and dreams looks different. So yours is yours, mines is mines. No need for comparsions. We just need to appreciate each other and appreciate our self. Your purpose is great. Why God has you here on earth. Don't forget he loves you and your on your own mission. Never feel you have nothing to bring to the table. You are a great being. Just remember that on good days and bad days. I'am willing and able! I'am great at being me! I'am enough being me!

Precious Moments

During times of uncertainity,we often forget to enjoy the joys in life that surround us. Loved ones, good friends, great food, sunsets, and other small reminders are sometimes all we need to push forward, uplift, and make things happen. A little goes a long way. Celebrate what you have and what you have accomplished, big or small.

Seeking Validation VS. Security In Your Own Skin

Knowing who you are, where your going in life, and loving yourself, Is Priceless. Many people search for that security in themselves. If you find yourself searching for approval from others, living to their expectations, Letting them know your every move on your journey of life and goals, Not feeling comfortable in your own skin, You are lacking self esteem and confidence. Which will lead you to wanting "Validation". Which can be as simple, as finding yourself bragging to much, constant updates of your day to day life. For others to think your such a successful person, You shouldn't have to seek others approval or expectations of what you should be doing. They are just looking for results and control over your life. Be your own boss. You call the shots. The only one person to stand in your shadow is you and God. No one else opinion of you should matter. You know who you are and you can show others with your actions. Not by bragging or over reaching, looking desperate. Being humble and being secure in your own skin, will bring you the ultimate reward you deserve. Which in return will have you in the spot light.
Be about what you Preach......

If you find yourself giving advice, but not taking your own. When your in the same situation. That is hypocrisy. If you can dish it you can take it. Be about what you preach or sell. For instances, your giving someone advice about being financially secure and good money management skills. But yet you are in debt, no money, no savings whatsoever. Why should anyone listen to you about their finances. It's contradictory! Then your credibility is at low. No one wants to buy into what your preaching or selling. Be a man or woman of your word. Don't go around having everyone fooled. When you know you don't follow your own words. It just say a lot about you.... And it's not positive. You look silly.

Accountability: Time to Step Up!

If you are wrong or make a mistake, step up to the plate and take accountability. You live and you learn. Every action has a reaction, and it is what you do that counts. It is the weak that crumble and the strong that step up. Own your strength!!!

REHAB SELF REFLECTION 101: I'M THE PROBLEM (FOR 2010)

If you find yourself pointing the fingers at others thinking everyone is wrong, you need to reevaluate yourself. It's easy to say others are the problem. But looking from within and being the bigger person, and admitting you need to be dealt with, and could be the problem. This is the first step to rehab self reflection. Laying the cards down and saying it's me first.

First you need to know that everyone has flaws including me. So list your flaws. Then second, talk to God and mediate about your flaws, know this process won't happen overnight. You will have to work on it, a flaw at a time. Remember your only human and we all mess up. Third is exercise your progress and work on it. When you see yourself backsliding on your progress. Notice it and get back to evaluating and praying.

For you to be better person, God has to be with you every step of the way. Continue to build on each flaw until you see a reduction of the same flaw reappearing. You will find yourself improving. Then when a problem arises you will learn to deal with it in a positive approach instead of your old negative approach. You will find when you delete bad habits, you will be present for the world. And feel better about your well being. Their is no need to point fingers, because remember if the other person is wrong, they will be dealt with. And your reactions will show a positive, now present being. If you didn't know yourself now, you will recognize yourself for the first time in a long time.

2010 Financial Therapy: Start the Recovery

With the current economic state experiencing a questionable transition, many of us are left feeling like a hostage to the financial institution. However, there are things we can do to employ tactics to help gear us through, as we attempt to progress through this recovery. The biggest step in life sometimes requires us as individuals to create our path, instead of waiting and hoping for the green light. That way when and if you do get the green light, you are more than ready to go and move forward.

According to Warren Buffet (investment billionaire), his advice for achieving long-term wealth is to invest wisely over a period of time. You do not need a large sum of money to put away to receive a high return. For example, putting aside $20.00 a week for a year, yields a result of $960.00. That may not seem like a lot for some, but that is $960.00 that can be put towards savings that you would have not had, if you did not put money aside and saved. Do this for a few years and you will see your money grow. Also, adjust to living within your means. Although a billionaire, Warren Buffet still lives in a modest home that he purchased decades ago, and invests most of his money.
