Presence of Morning

A woke

to the the misty air swaying through my curtains

Brushed against my face

My hair let free to the breeze

My body paused with warmth

As my brain shuts out the world around me

I'm dreaming

No! I'm up!

A mysterious presences has entered my domain

As a kiss is placed an my cheek

I cant breathe

I'm breath tooken

A waiting my bedside

Coming closer and close

A soul is endeavoring to seek another

Making it way to my temple

I'm moved

Chills run down my spine onto my thighs

Exiting out my feet

Sudden movements against the skin

Has stimulated the temple

Triggering the heart and soul

A cry of joy

Indicates communication within

Quiet, I hear sweet words whispering into my ears

Smiling and Laughing

The presence slowly driven away into thin air

I clinged to my sheets

Saying nothing

I fell asleep

Tomorrow, I await

The morning misty air

  1. Wow !! I like your poetry - so vividly and exquisitely written. It's as if all my senses become engaged when reading and not a poet; my wife is however actually. Here's our address - why don't you check out our site 2. Your stuff is publishible in my opinion. Nice Job. The above is a vampire - right ? Ilike your other stuff on your actual blog.
