Never been the one to toot my horn, 

without a conscious or a cause

More likely the one to fall back and observe at a distance,

then act accordingly 

Always diverting from the book (which man implements)

marching to my own beat

but never from the truth

holding true to my beliefs

not selling my soul

The substances beneath this stubborn set fixture 

which is my heart, my brain, my thoughts

is a constants battle ground

Yet still the one to think of the next,

down to earth
